The 2nd annual All In for CP Celebrity No-Limit Texas Holdem Poker Tournament

Television and Movie Stars, Celebrity athletes, Playboy Playmates and some of the best poker players in the world will be joining host Jennifer Tilly for a charity poker event to benefit the One Step Closer Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 12th, 2009.

The 2nd yearly All In for CP Celebrity No-Limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament will be on December 12th, 2009 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The buy-in cost is $550 with $200 Re-Buys and a group of celebrities from all walks of life are already planning to participate in the tournament.

Hollywood actors Dean Cain, Ken Davitian, Glen Morshower and Shannon Elizabeth have already confirmed their attendance in the event along with television personality Montel Williams and last year's All In for CP Celebrity No-Limit Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament, Simpsons creator Sam Simon who donated all of his winnings to the One Step Closer Foundation.

Scott Ian, the guitarist for Anthrax, Napster creator Shawn Fanning and WWE diva Alicia Webb will also participate in the tournament as well as Playboy Playmates Jennifer Leigh, Stacy Fusion, and Brande Roderick, who plans on bring her husband and former linebacker for the Denver Broncos Glenn Cadrez.

The Poker pros that are returning for this year's event include 2006 WSOP Main Event champion Jamie Gold, Pam and Todd Brunson, Barry Greenstein, Clonie Gowen, Phil Laak and Men "the Master" Nguyen.

Jacob Zalewski, who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, started the poker tournament. Zalewski said that they hope to create a future where Cerebral Palsy is just a thing of the past. He added that they know that they are getting closer to that goal everyday.

The event starts off at the Hard Rock at 2:00 p.m. PT and will include an after-party sponsored by the PPA (Poker Players Alliance).

Started in 2007, The One Step Closer Foundation is a non-profit group whose main goal is to ease the lives of those individuals who suffer from Cerebral Palsy.

The non-profit group also claims to financially assist researchers who are looking for medical breakthroughs in treating and diagnosing the condition. Last year, the event raised a total of $44,000 for the cause.
